In November 2024, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the investigation, Raymond Vincent Wargo, Jr., was identified as a suspect.
In March 2025, members of The Invictus Task Force executed a search warrant, leading to the arrest of Wargo, Jr., on May 2, 2025, who was subsequently charged with ten counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He was transported to the Alamance County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $300,000 secured bond and set a first appearance was set for May 5, 2025, in Alamance County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
