
In November 2024, members of The Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Jenaro Martinez was identified as a suspect.
On May 16, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of The Invictus Task Force, and as a result, Jenaro Martinez was taken into custody and charged with two (2) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Martinez was transported to the Alamance County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $150,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Alamance County District Court for May 19, 2025. The investigation is ongoing; anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.
