On May 22, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. As a result of this investigation, Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence of Barry Anthony Blake on Peeler Dr. in Randleman. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of fentanyl, items of drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency. A firearm was also recovered that had been reported stolen.
As a result, Barry Anthony Blake was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in opium or heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, felony maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession of a stolen firearm, felony possession of firearm by felon, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He received no bond with a first appearance set for May 23, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
