
On July 10, 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, arrested Chancelor Thomas Church on a warrant issued out of Duplin County, North Carolina. Chancelor Thomas Church was taken into custody and charged with one (1) count of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a minor, and one (1) count of Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a minor. Church was transported to the Davidson County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance in Davidson County District Court for July 11, 2025. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.
