On June 28, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to NC Hwy 62, Trinity, in reference to the theft of a motor vehicle and axle trailer that had already occurred.
On June 28, 2025, the stolen vehicle, along with the trailer, was located by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on I-77 in their jurisdiction with a female occupant identified as Lori Marie Walden. She was arrested and charged accordingly in reference to Iredell County charges.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit sought charges against Waldon for felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony larceny. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for arrest. While confined in the Iredell County Detention Center, she was served the warrant. She was issued a $7,500 secured bond with a first appearance set for July 9, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
