On July 23, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for assistance from NC Probation and Parole at Mobile Ct., Climax. The probation officers had several individuals detained at the location and suspected that more were present inside. Upon our arrival, Jennifer Roberts Hill claimed that no one else was in the residence. During a later search, deputies discovered additional individuals within the residence and detained them. Following further searches of both the residence and the individuals, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics were located.
Charles Burton Roberts-Hill, a convicted felon, was found in possession of a firearm, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia, leading to his arrest.
One of the vehicles parked in the driveway was identified as stolen. During the inventory process for towing, identification belonging to Crissie Michelle Peak was discovered, along with more illegal substances and paraphernalia. She was subsequently arrested.
Among those detained outside, Luis Alberto Rosa and Nicholas Hyatt were both found to have outstanding warrants and were also taken into custody.
Jennifer Roberts Hill was arrested for harboring a fugitive and resisting, delaying, or obstructing law enforcement.
All individuals were transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and charged as follows:
Crissie Michelle Peak – the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of stolen motor vehicle, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. She was issued a $10,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for July 24, 2025, in Randolph County District Court. Additionally, she was served with a probation violation and was not eligible for bond regarding that matter.
Jennifer Roberts Hill – the magistrate found probable cause for misdemeanor resist/delay/obstruct and misdemeanor harboring a fugitive. She was granted a $2,000 unsecured bond and subsequently released. Her court date is set for August 18, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Charles Burton Roberts-Hill – the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of firearm by felon, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for July 24, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Nicholas Hyatt was served two orders for arrest out of Randolph County and issued a $2,000 total secured bond. A first appearance was set for July 24, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Luis Alberto Rosa was served his order for arrest out of Alamance County and issued a $40,000 secured bond. He is set to appear in Alamance County Superior Court on July 28, 2025.
