
In August 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a call for service. During the course of the investigation, Gary Shipwash was identified as a suspect.
On August 6, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of the Invictus Task Force and as a result, Gary Shipwash was taken into custody and charged with five counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Shipwash was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $200,000 secure bond and set a first appearance in Randolph County District Court for August 7, 2025. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.
