On September 13, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to New Hope Rd., Denton, in reference to a burglary. Deputies met with the complainants at another location before proceeding to the address. One of the complainants reported a known suspect, identified as Thomas Jordan Williamson, II, had broken into the residence and stolen two dogs along with additional items.
Upon arrival at the residence on New Hope Rd., deputies collected evidence for the investigation.
During the investigation, the suspect vehicle pulled into the driveway, and a deputy observed the stolen dogs in question inside Williamson’s vehicle. He was placed under arrest. During the search to arrest and vehicle inventory for towing, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located.
Following the investigation, he was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony second degree burglary, felony larceny after break/enter, two counts felony larceny of dog, misdemeanor resisting public officer, misdemeanor driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz., misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor simple possession schedule II substance, and misdemeanor communicating threats. Williamson was given no bond due to being out on pre-trial release. A first appearance was scheduled for September 15, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
