On August 26, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit located Skyler Bryan Hodges on Bethel Dr., High Point. Hodges had recently been identified as a suspect in several larcenies and motor vehicle burglaries in the area. Hodges was taken into custody for his unserved warrants for arrest as a result of the burglaries. During his arrest, additional items were recovered. During this investigation, two other individuals were also identified as suspects, and warrants were issued.
Hodges was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his outstanding processes for the charges of six counts of felony break/enter motor vehicle with theft, six counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property, two counts of misdemeanor first-degree trespass enter/remain, and misdemeanor larceny. He was given a $6,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for August 27, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On August 28, 2025, the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, along with the assistance of the High Point Police Department Street Crimes and K-9 unit, tracked down and apprehended John Henry Edward McGee in High Point City. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his warrants for felony break/enter motor vehicle, misdemeanor first degree trespass, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property, misdemeanor second degree trespass, and felony probation violation. The magistrate issued a $3,500 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for August 28, 2025, in Randolph County District Court. He was also served with a warrant for arrest out of Guilford County for felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. The magistrate issued an additional $10,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for September 5, 2025, in Guilford County District Court.
On September 4, 2025, Tony Dwayne Mashburn, Jr. was located and arrested by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his warrants for felony break/enter motor vehicle, misdemeanor first-degree trespass enter/remain, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property. During his arrest, an illegal substance was located, and he was additionally charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued no bond, and a first appearance was scheduled for September 5, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
