The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to calls for service in the Franklinville area for several vehicle break-ins that had occurred during the first few days of September.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, charges were sought against Michael Joseph Wallace for five counts of felony break/enter motor vehicle, three counts of felony larceny after break/enter, and misdemeanor financial card fraud. The magistrate found probable cause for the charges and issued a warrant for arrest.
On September 22, 2025, Wallace was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served with his warrants for arrest. He was issued a $10,000 total secured bond, and a first appearance was set for September 23, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
