On October 31, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hillsville Rd., Trinity, in reference to a larceny.
Following an investigation, charges were sought against Judy Dianne Hurst, for felony obtain property by false pretense and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property, and the magistrate found probable cause for the charges and issued a warrant for arrest.
On December 28, 2025, Hurst was located in Davidson County, arrested, and transported to the Davidson County Detention Center. The magistrate issued her no bond, and a court date was set for January 2, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
