On December 31, 2025, a registered sex offender from the state of Georgia was located in Randolph County by the Asheboro Police Department in their jurisdiction. The officer contacted the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective after discovering the subject was residing in Randolph County.
The offender was identified as Robert Daniel Eunice, who had failed to register with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office after moving to North Carolina. North Carolina law requires any registered sex offender moving into the state from another jurisdiction to register with the sheriff’s office within three days of establishing residency.
During the investigation, it was also discovered that Eunice was wanted out of the state of Georgia. A warrant was obtained by the Randolph County Sheriff’s charging Eunice with felony failure to register as a sex offender in North Carolina. He was also served the Georgia Fugitive from Justice warrant.
Robert Danile Eunice is currently being held under no bond on both charges. His next scheduled court date is January 2, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
