On January 13, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received information of a possible sex offense upon a minor. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the allegations, charges were sought against Jourden Jayce Puckett on February 11, 2025, for felony statutory rape of a child <=15, felony statutory sex offense with a child <=15, and two counts of felony first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The magistrate found probable cause for the charges and issued a warrant for arrest.
Puckett, currently confined at the Randolph County Detention Center, was served his warrant. He received no bond due to being on pre-trial release, and a first appearance was set for February 12, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
