***UPDATE*** 

On January 18, 2023, at approx. 9 p.m., the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended Patrick Michael Reagan at 2994 Stanley Rd., lot 20, High Point, NC, who was wanted by multiple agencies. Reagan’s charges in Randolph County were for failing to appear in Randolph County Superior Court on January 9, 2023.  While at the residence, deputies discovered a vehicle in his possession that was reported stolen in Guilford County.   Reagan attempted to flee from deputies and resisted arrest, but was inevitably taken into custody. 

Reagan was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the eighteen outstanding charges (listed below) and brought before the magistrate who issued a $550,000 total secured bond and set a first appearance for January 20, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.   

On January 19, 2023, additional charges were sought and the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession stolen motor vehicle, two counts of misdemeanor assault on government official, and misdemeanor resist obstruct and delay. He was issued a $25,000 secured bond and a first appearance was also set for January 20, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.   

Names of Defendant: 

Patrick Michael Reagan

Age:  36

Randolph County: two counts failure to appear on felony, felony possession stolen motor vehicle, two counts of misdemeanor assault on government official, and misdemeanor resist obstruct and delay

Forsyth County: misdemeanor larceny, felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after breaking/entering 

Guilford County:  felony breaking and/or entering, felony habitual larceny, misdemeanor injury to real property, felony interfere with electronic monitoring device, felony obtain property by false pretense, misdemeanor larceny, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny of a firearm, felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after breaking/entering, misdemeanor driving while license revoked, misdemeanor fail to stop for a steady read light, misdemeanor speeding in a school zone

***UPDATE*** 6/28/22

Following the investigation, additional charges for two counts of Felony Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods were issued.  On June 28, 2022, Reagan was located and arrested by Asheboro Police Department in their jurisdiction. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he received an additional $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for June 29, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On June 20, 2022, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cedar Square Rd., Archdale, in reference to a breaking and entering in progress.  While enroute to the address, Communications advised that the caller had stated the subject was still inside of his residence at that time and kept telecommunicators apprised of the subject’s location and a description of the subject’s vehicle.  Upon the subject leaving, a friend of the caller was able to follow the suspect’s vehicle and call 911.  A Civil Division Deputy in the area was able to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle and detain the subject.  The subject, identified as Patrick Michael Reagan of Greensboro, was detained pending investigation.   

Additional deputies responded to the initial address for investigation. During the investigation, the victim reported firearms and other items missing from the residence.  Deputies canvassed the area and located firearms and clothing items in the wooded area where the suspect had been seen.  Crime Scene investigators responded to process the scene.  

Reagan was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering, two counts of Felony Larceny of a Firearm, two counts of felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Misdemeanor Injury to Real Property.  He was issued a $50,000 secure bond and a first appearance was set for June 23, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
