On August 25, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. The Vice and Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on Forest Hills Dr. in Asheboro. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and items of drug paraphernalia. Also located and seized were three firearms and US Currency.
As a result, Harvey Alexander Hill, Jr. was transported to Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance, Felony Possession With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Sch II Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. He was also served with an Order for Arrest for Failure to Appear. He was given a $101,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for August 28, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
