On September 26, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Cedar Square Rd., Archdale. During a subsequent search, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located in the passenger area. The passenger, identified as Zoet Makayla Grace Reyes, was also found to be in possession of paraphernalia during the search. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia, misdemeanor simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $3,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for September 27, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
